Cheney just seems angry when he has to answer to media which of course is answering to the people of the US.

Answering to a biased media with an agenda is a very different thing from answering to the people of the US.

I can empathize. He's built his career on the truth. Maybe as he see's it, but the truth all the same. To be questioned is one thing, to be questioned by idiots is another.

As you well know siren, every question has an assumption behind it. Don't look at Cheney, listen to the question. I don't think you're seeing a bitter man, I think you're seeing a man that is reacting honestly to stupid questions.

At this very important juncture, when we're about to war with Iraq, isn't it interesting that Bush is mainly MIA? Instead, he's letting others talk for him, with Cheney leading the charge as the most bellicose of the hawks.

Ishmule-- yes, it must be such a terrible inconvience for poor Dick to have to answer questions from journalists. My heart bleeds for him.
