Does your spouse/S.O. know you're here?

I've been on Lit for a little while now, and have talked to many people who have spouses or significant others.

I'm wondering how many of you on here have a spouse/S.O., and do they know you are here? If so, do you both have profiles? Do you share information? Do you read each other's posts? Is your spouse/SO aware you are here, but not want to participate themselves?
Would your spouse/SO not understand if they knew you were here? Do you wish they knew?

I'll start. My husband is actually the one who introduced me to this site. I had never heard of it before. He had been reading the stories, and thought I would enjoy them, too. I did, but it didn't take me long to find my way to the Bulletin Board and the threads, where I was thrilled to discover the great conversations that go on here, and then began meeting great people! The rest is history, as they say! He knows I'm still here, and that I enjoy the conversations. He has no desire to move to this area of Lit. He's content with the stories, and that's great, too. We each enjoy Lit in our own way. Sometimes we share, but mostly we do our own things.

I have been coming to Lit since I was 18 just for the stories. As time went on and I went away to college I found the bulliten board and then my wife. There was sometime where her and I did not have the internet so I forgot my previous password to another name, so I had to make a new one.
My wife knows I come here to get off. But she does not know about the boards.

My wife suspects I play around online but does not know specifically what I do or where I go. She does not see the attraction to online erotic, although I believe she does sometimes read the stories on Lit to masturbate to. She would not approve of me "sneaking around" so that is why I don't share what I do with her. I consider it harmless fun, though, and hope to find some good friends for good sexy talk.

Hi married bi male here. Yes my wife of twenty years knows and does not care.I do not hide anything from her. We sometimes look at pics together but she really is not into porn not even romance novels.

We do however play with other couples and select singles. She is a great lady and I would not trade her for anything.

Yes, my husband knows about this place. He knows I read the stories and occasionally post on the boards...He also knows I posted pics...he considers it harmless fun and does not at all mind me being here.

I am married and my wife does not know that I am here. I even use a different browser so I can delete the cookies/files/history without it affecting our normal browser.

Recently here, I've been insulted and then ridiculed when I tried to defend myself, but you know what? I'm here, just like everyone else. Because I like sex. Do I get enough of it? No. Am I satisfied with my sex life? No. My wife has never been a very sexual person (except a short time a few months before and after we got married). Once we had our twins in 06, she lost her sex drive. Not that I was great, but I'd hoped love would prevail. Since Sept. 06, we've had sex 5 times. We went 2 years with no sex, then had a short burst of 2 times and 3 times over a 2 month period, and havent had sex for over a year now. Which is why I'm here. At a porn story site. So maybe, just maybe, I can read something that turns me on. And experience just a little bit of happiness in my life again.

why is it?

Thanks everyone for stepping out and sharing. So often I hear about (and experience this myself) spouses with such different sex drives. Why is that? How is it that we find someone we love, marry them, and then end up with such different needs and desires when it comes to sex? And you can't say it's only the women who lose the desire, or never get it, .... just look at the posts here. Just as many men (mine included) have low sex drives or a lack of interest in sex as do women.

Hmmm..... the great enigma! Anyone have a theory on this? It just seems like there are sooooooo many of us here with the same issue--a higher sex drive than our spouse/SO's--and the resulting frustrations that go with it.

I've pondered this one for a long time, and talked to a lot of people, and it's still an enigma.

Anyone?
