Another curiousity satisfier...My Master LOVES to cook. He's Italian, and loves to make His special lasagna, or other dishes. He's always making my mouth water. He cooks and then I get to clean up. That's our deal.

Cooking (he starts a dish, and I take over by the end, I'm Italian... I was born bred and raised to cook and eat ::shrug:

Loves his politics, and ethics, big on philosophy and other loves of knowledge.

Hmm. His hobbies...

Dog training.. he's learning how to train his dog. I'm the alpha bitch, so to speak, with our little pack of canines, being a certified trainer.

Horses, he's been raised with them, and we both ride and show.

Programming... computer nerd through and through.. he's a programmer by trade.

Computer games. Lots of them.

Movies... mostly good action ones, though he sometimes can be persuaded into a mushy chick flick.

Hiking, camping, fishing.. all outdoorsy pursuits.

Carpentry.. he loves to build things or work on the house.

There's more, but these are the major ones.

Biker enjoys, first and foremost riding His motorcycle.. He has been riding since the age of 14. He loves playing with His five dogs. rolling on the ground and them nipping and licking at Him... very cute when i see this. reminds me of a small boy at play. i swear i am going to get a pix of this one day.

He enjoys woodworking even if He is the second Tim Allen . i am almost afraid to leave Him alone when He drags out His toys *G*

He loves History, very much into war stories, (Ex-military) .

Napping with one eye and both ears tuned in to the shows He is to sleepy to actually watch... I swear He needs a hearing aid. *giggles* I do so love Him..

Sir LOVES to fish. And I have learned to love it too...just imagine, a quiet lake, a small boat, just the two of us for hours and hours, fishing away, watching the ducks and beavers and big blue herons (who usually catch more fish than we do)...

Well, 15+ years ago when we got married I was a die-hard NASCAR fan. Back then you were lucky to catch more than the Daytona 500 on TV. She'd never been a watcher of the races but I had been since I was little and used to get glimpses of the last ten laps at Talledega on Wide World of Sports.

It didn't take long and she was watching more and more. Then one night, I'm ironing my uniform getting ready for a graveyard shift, and we're watching the night race at Charolette...Davey Allison (my man, RIP) and Kyle Petty are duking it out right down to the finish...

Kyle spun Davey right at the finish line but Davey crossed first to win. I was going crazy and suddenly noticed so was she! She's been hooked ever since. A true NASCAR fanatic she is now.

And we just went to our first race. AWESOME!!!

I very clearly remember tolerating those shows because I loved her so much. I put up with hours of Room by Room, Carol Duvall, etc. And slowly...it began to grow on me! Now I like watching those shows. Of course they are much more popular with the advent of Trading Spaces, etc., but I like them just the same.

LOL...sorta the same only I think those cars do something to her. I wasn't able to sample but I'm certain when all those engines roared to life she was as wet as wet gets. I was just along for the ride.

lol! That's what happened with us as well. I never cared for soccer before we got together. Not sure how it happened but suddenly I realized that I was enjoying the matches! I was cheering as loud as he was...lol

yes....my Master is a very dedicated, exceptionally talented musician. He can play more musical instruments than i can count, and what he can't play he can very quickly learn to play. tho his passion is the bass (both upright and guitar). we have quite radically different tastes in music, but from being together so long we have sort of come to like each other's favorite music a bit. something Daddy will do for me on occasion, when we are just lying around about the house, is take out his guitar and play along to all of the music videos that come on mtv and such as i watch. even if it's a song he's never heard, within 30 seconds, he's following along perfectly. what is even better is when he plays AND sings. He has the most beautiful singing voice...very masculine and soulful. He has even written songs for me, something that in my wildest dreams i never would have imagined happening.

second to music would be sports...football, then basketball, then everything else. playing and watching. He was quite the "jock" in his younger days and still has the body and abilities to play the rough and tumble sports with friends when he has free time.

working out is another passion of his...training (weight lifting mostly) 5X a week is considered mandatory to him...it's one way he relieves stress, lets off some steam, also it's important to him to maintain a strong, healthy, and attractive body, so he does not resemble the "typical" 40-something yr old. and i must say, this has it's benefits for me as well...for instance, just for the pleasure of his little one, he will flex his (quite large) pec muscles, making each one wink at me, for as long as i like! hehe

ooh yes, he's also a graphic designer, and while as a career this mostly translates to ad work, logos and such, in his spare time he enjoys retouching old photographs. He's taken many beloved old family photos of mine and has made them look absolutely flawless, have no idea how he does it as i have no clue about such things.
