Does Tony Soprano's mother remind you of anyone you know??

The first time I saw the Sopranos I connected instantly with Tony. It's not that I am a member of the C.N. but I have a kinship with Tony's depression and his relationship with his mother, now deceased, due to the untimely death of Nancy Marchand, the wonderful actress who played the part.

Except for ordering a "hit" on me, my mother and Tony's could be twins. They are narcissists who have no joy in their lives except for the misery that they bring into the life of others. Sad, but true.

Thank god, my own mother is a step down from Tony's but it's a short step. She just uses manipulation, guilt and coersion instead of bullets. lol God bless her. It wasn't until I was 29 that I finally told her to fuck off. What a great day that was too!
