I know I am dating myself.

But I still love that cd. I have been listening to it again and again.

Brings back lots of memories.

Anyone else have a cd that does that??

Cassidy

I sure do, the soundtrack to Dirty Dancing.
I haven't listened to it for ages but whenever I do I end up in another world.

If he's the guy that did Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do), I do. It's one of my favourite songs.

:)

Yes!! That is him.

I am talking about the one cd that had "Ride Like the Wind" and "Sailing" on it.

My favorite was "Never Be the Same"

It was good for me
It was good for you
Now nothing either of us can say or do
Could change the way you feel tonight
Sometimes love just slips out of sight

Just one thing before you go
Just one thing that you've got to know
No one will ever touch me that way
The way that you did that very first day

And I'll
Never be the same without you here
I'll live alone
Hide myself behind my tears
And I'll
Never be the same without your love
I'll live alone
Try so hard to rise above

The years go by
There's always someone new
To try and help me forget about you
Time and again it does me no good
Love never feels the way that it should

I loved you then I think I'll love you forever
Even though I know we could never stay together
I'll dream of how it could have been
If we could start all over again

Yes Cassidy, of course we remember.

Now are you getting all mushy on us?:)

The Soundtrack from the Big Chill gets dusted off from time to time.

Also, Heart, Dog and Butterfly and Supertramp, Breakfast in America.

I still have Supertramp's album. For those too young to remember, it looks like a very large, black cd and one would listen to it on a turn table. Lost you? OH! Nuts....better check out the encyclopedia.

:)

we arent old...we are mature. LOL

Supertramp....bloody well right
Reo Speedwagon...hifidelity
Mott the Hoople...all the young dudes
Grand Funk Railroad...paranoid (red album)
Iron Butterfly....Inagoddadavida
A Foot in Cold Water....if you want to get to heaven

i got the lp's...and i still play them now and then.
got lots of old lp's...

and i got a few 45's as well.

anyone else?

I had forgotten him... but unfortunately now you've reminded me. I can look forward to many more years of hell now... *grin*

Yea, I know.:)

After that record, he just dropped out of sight.

Does anybody know if he ever made another record?

Cassidy

Believe it or not, I remeber him.

He used to put his pants on backwards and he sang "Jump, jump" and "I missed the bus". I remember the bus safety day in like 2nd grade where they played that song and then did the lame association thing where the speaker goes "We, too, do not want you to miss the bus."
