I do.

Its my second job. Hours of hunting them down, getting tips in the emails and playing instant win games.

And boy have I racked up some loot.

Well anyways, there is one out there that is great if you wanna do it.

For a free Microsoft® Flight Simulator™ 2002 Standard Edition CD ROM game

At 12:03 A.M. go to http://www.newlinks.com/tvguide/NoPurchase.htm

Dont go at 12:00 thats too early, or even 12:10 cause that is too late.

Go to the site before hand and fill out your info.

Minimize it until the right time, send it in as 12:03 and bam you have a $50 game.

For those blessed with money this wont matter, but it will make a
nice christmas present.

I also wondered if any one ever got any of those " freebies".

Do you also try for those freebies in magazines ?

:)

I do. Magazines are good, but usually you need a certain word to get whatever freebie they offer.

I do everything but the 1-800 numbers.

I have gotten everything from cash to video games.

Movies,products,samples of things,tshirts,music cd's,even a keyboard.

All free.

But,there are bad places.

The fine print will say that you are not getting whatever freebie they offer unless you "win" it. I dont do those.

I did the freebie thing once and while I did get the free item ... I did not read the extra tiny fine print , printed on the back of the page.

I ended up changing my phone company and it got messy for a while there , I had to call and correct every thing and it was a big mess.

My room mate got mad & laughed @ me , for not reading the little print , but ever since then I have not been a big fan of those freebies. :(

i used to up to about a year or so ago, but that is when most of the companies took to only sending out thier freebies to inside of the US and not to Canada it got to much work looking for companies that would send to canada that I gave up on it

I like the out of country ones.

I had a company in Europe send me a cd of their new artists.

It was good.

Always always always read the fine print.

I once got some free stamps. At least from what I read when I ordered them it was free.

What I didnt know was they changed the rules and now was charging for them.

I sent it back and told them to shove it.

I have often wondered about those things...What kind of list do you get on if you do it? Will they harrass me afterwards?

I am really bad about sending things back. I am sloppy about returning rebates so if someone did something like the stamp thing, it would just ruin my credit rating because I wouldn't mail them the money, either.

edited because I am having problems with my woulds and wouldn'ts today...

The easiest way to do it is to go to yahoo groups and search for freebies. Hundreds of them are out there. I am only on 3 lists and I can get up to 100 emails a day.

But the ones I am on is not just for freebies. We are mostly mothers who talk and things like that.

I prefer and only get freebies from sites that are professional.

I dont do the homegrown personal pages.

Usually all you do is put your name, email, and address to get freebies.

But please get a free email address as lots of them do send you newsletters and ads and stuff.'

Which I dont mind, since they are sending me free stuff. ;)
