how to change the background for web cam pics using a program such as, oh I don't know.. that freebie download IrfanView?

I took the question to the 'how to' board and nobody knew..

If not on that program.. does anyone have any other ideas? (short of buying one of those million dollar photoshop programs...)

You have to open the picture in a program like PaintShop Pro or Photoshop - or pretty much any image processing program.

Once in the program you have to crop out the background - then fill it with whatever background you want.

I don't want to ask someone to do it for me, and have them go through all that trouble, just in case I don't use it.

Dilly, I have the image viewer that came stock w/ my machine.. and then Weird Harold recommended IrfanView as a freebie (I haven't seen him around lately to ask him). For some reason, neither will allow me to crop. That or I'm just an ignoramus.
