Does anyone know wtf is up with Pornhub?

If you've been having my experience, every time a page starts to load on Pornhub, you are presented with that age verification screen, requiring you to click that button before you are allowed in.
I went through all my settings and couldn't find anything. I followed the links on Pornhub to Microsoft's parental control and family friendly filtering, but had no luck locating a source of this problem there.
Can anyone help?

Texas started the ball rolling to make porn as difficult as possible for adults to view in the name of "protecting the children".

They require big porn companies to have positive identification (such as drivers licenses of patrons) on files to "make sure everyone is of legal age". Nobody in their right mind wants to send a photocopy of their personal ID to a porn company (which Texas knew).

You can get around it by installing a VPN and selecting an option that makes it appear that you're logging in from North Dakota or something. Use any VPN except Nord, which offers a "free trial" but dings you for $100 renewal without notice. I use Private Internet Access (PIA), easy to setup and use. $40 per year.
