Does anyone know how to take a song from a CD..

You have to create a wav. file via some sort of thingy to which I am not educated upon.

If noone can help you in the next 15 minutes... my sleeping, soon to be awake husband can give me the low down to convey to you.

And send it to someone else via the internet?

You need a CD Player program that can save the CD track to disk as a .WAV or .MP3 file.

I downloaded MusicMatch which can do it, but it's not a very good program otherwise.

Since .WAV and .MP3 files are usually very big files, you might also want to ZIP the file to make it smaller. MP3 format won't compress very much, but it might just be that little bit smaller needed to keep from overloading the recipients e-mail box.

You may also warn the recepient they are about to receive a large file if they have a slow Internet connection.
