I just had the most amazing caramelized banana cream tart! It was a small tart with a lovely crust, rich, dark chocolate filling, and thin slices of caramelized banana on top. It was surrounded by dollops of alternating chocolate and caramel syrup and finished with a little scoop of caramel ice cream.

The presentation had a very Halloween Carnival feel. The flavor was sublime! :heart:

I just almost got electrocuted by 220V at 50A... :p I hate that.

And why is there "cute" in the word "electrocute"? Hmmm?

I decided that I was going to wait for a certain guy to call me. I wasn't going to call him. Well, he didn't call for almost two weeks, and I realized that means he passed the test - I was really freaked out and nervous that he was going to start calling me all the time and expecting things out of me, so when he didn't, it was a huge relief. I think we can be friends with benefits now, without things getting weird. And if not, no big deal.

Interesting... no. But I'm fine with that.

I saw two attactive young girls at a tire store as I was making a U-turn. I said to myself, "hot chicks, too bad I'll never see them again." But sure enough, as I came around the building in the middle of the cloverleaf ramp, I saw them again as I was going the other way :D

Chicken drowns 6 people !!!

OK, here goes.

A chicken caused six people to drown when it fell down a 20-meter (60-foot) well in the Egyptian village of Nazlat Imara.

Police said farmer Allam Sabet al-Sayyed climbed down the well to rescue the chicken. His sister Zeinab, brothers Sayyed and Ahmad, and two other farmers who came to help, followed him. They all drowned, apparently victims of a strong undercurrent in the water.

The chicken survived.

Honest !!
 
Pigs know more than the farmer?

Farmer Derek Allen, of Dorset, England, said the tin roof on his pigsty was picking up radio signals from the BBC. He said the news bulletins and broadcasts in 36 languages seemed to have a calming effect on his pigs.

He added, “I'm sure my pigs know more about what's going on than I do.”
