I do, I find it all very exciting...even at 27 I still own a skateboard and is looking forward to the day, where I'll drive to Holland. MI. and beat the living crap out of their Skate park (30 minutes from here)

I was just wondering if anyone else has the taste for the extreme?? you know the kind that can break your bones and you dont give a fuck.

It is easy to not "give a fuck" until you are in the trauma room or
(true story of a dear friend of mine)
you wake up and hear a bunch of people talking in Vietnamese in the next room, realize you hurt like hell, and notice that you are in a hospital. You know that you obviously must have had some terrible accident but have to wonder how on Earth you ended up in Vietnam. Then the nurse walks in and says (In that beautiful English), "Oh--hey every body, he's finally awake!" Then you learn you have been comatose for over a month and have been through multiple surgeries and now look like the Terminator on x-ray.

It is also a lot easier to not "give a fuck" when you don't have a family to support. I used to be like that--then I got pregnant. Now I am Ms. Jane Q. Citizen--safety conscious and not willing to risk my health since I know others depend on me.

I hear you....but even dropping in, in a 8 feet high vert ramp is something I'd love to do again...and watching thje GHravity Games really get my phcycked(sp) about it.

I have personally made a a dark slide in San Diego, when I was there last year...havent since, and doubt that I will again.

Yes xander we watch gravity games. 1 it is on after the nascar race and 2 My son really loves that stuff. And is really cool to see those kids get that high in the air.

Skitten I still love the game, and is one of the few here, that can truthfully say that I ahve skated with Tony Hawk....what an experience that was!!

Me and Ravenloft is still gonna hit Hoilland in a weeks time or so...and see what going on...I need to stratech my skater bones before winter...even if I break both legs doing it.

I watch the X treme games. While I don't look for them, if they are on when I am channel surfing, I stop and watch.

I also watch the strong man competitions. Not the basic weightlifting, but the competitions where they are pulling tractor trailors or having other off beat contests.

Amazing stuff. I like watching people do things that I will never do.

I like watching X-games though, with the boards, skates, and bikes. It's really cool and some of those guys do things that would scare the willy off of me, if I had a willy.

No I havent KM, but I have seen what it looks like when a guys head gets hit by a 38 round....not a very pretty sight I might add....and kinda messy too.

I think I'll stick to the skateboard with the risk of breaking every bone in my body instead.

used to be my favorite hobby
beating the shit out of little punk skaters..but that was years ago, then I grew up, matured and discovered that...
damn! it's still fun as hell!

I don't do the skateboarding, it just never caught my interest. I do however, ride in motocross events (very very amateur, but so much fun) and snowboard.

I watch the XGames religiously

Yes I also dig snowboarding...though I am still not sure I really should strap a board under my feet again. I havent been snowboarding for years, and well I did have my knee busted since then and now so....

I love watching the X-games too; I think it's just one of the greatest things ever! Makes me wanna take up blading properly and do really dangerous things.....
