As a general rule, I do not allow just anyone and everyone access to ANY personal information about me. Although some people may see a first name as an insignifigant piece of info, I don't intend to let just any and every person who is privy to this board know what mine is. Now, anyone I talk to in IMs knows it (it's my handle) and most people that I email know it, but to me those people are more than just nameless faces on the BB.

I figure if anyone wants to know my name, they'll ask. And in that case, I'll tell them.

My problem is I HATE my name. It is very old fashioned and I really dont care for it at all.

My first name is Marjorie but I prefer to be called by my nicknames which include Marj, Maggie, Margie, etc...
