I was thinking a good viking ship funeral would be a great way to go but then being shot inot space appeals to me too.

Shot into space is what I would choose if it was between those choices that's for sure. I wouldn't mind being able to explore the galaxy while I'm alive, but since I won't live long enough, it would always be something to fly through it when I'm dead.

Depends. If it just turns out to be a psychedelic freak-sequence like the last scene of '2001: A Space Odyssey' I think I'll take the cruise to Valhalla.

This is my plan, but it is now been put in question by these great suggestions, because I really like the idea of the archers shooting thier flaming arrows at my little ship. It would be a beautiful sight at dusk. And being out in space for "who knows what" to encounter by dead body is quite interesting.

However, I really like the idea of being cremated and tossed to the wind in Oak Creek Canyon between Flaggstaff and Sedona AZ. I would blow down stream, and then I'd settle in the water, and on rock, and part of me will remain in the canyon, and part of me will drift past the birch stands, to the Red Rock of the Sedona valley. Ahh. Heaven on Earth. Or there is a nice, somewhat secret dry Creek bed there in Sedona that I'd like my remains to be in.

Such a tough decision.

Nope a cord of wood a copy of a venus in furs video heave me on the boat and send me off to intercept pp man's yacht. You all do understand this is the mortal remains and not live bods we are roasting don't you?

i read not too long ago about a firm who puts your ashes into fireworks and lets your ashes scatter via a wild fireworks display.

wish i could have remembered where it was, but according to the people who do it, business was booming (no pun intended)

Fireworks would be good esp. if they could make mine explode into a shooting off mojo pattern. Would be quite the rocket ride huh?
