I hardly ever talk during sex. I hardly ever make any noises at all in fact. Sometimes, when going down on me, people come up just to make certain I haven't horribly died or fallen asleep. There are some women who make a great deal of noise and I've always found this a turn on and so, I think, do the neighbors. However, no one's ever tried to have a conversation with me during sex or said anything other than "faster", "lower", "that's good" and the like.

Seriously, not too much. I'll say the usual instructions, but not much more. I do, however, have a friend who wants to have entire conversations with her b/f during sex. He says that it usualy starts out with her on top, riding him, and saying, "So, how was your day at work?" She's had a guy dump her before because of it! He couldn't enjoy himself when he was trying to carry on a conversation.

I like a guy who talks dirty and makes some noise. I hate it when I have to check and see if he's still alive! One guy that I was with said he was silent because hearing me turned him on a lot and he didn't want to try to hear me over himself. Makes sense, but I still prefer some noise!

Either they are doing something way wrong, or you're not enjoying it.

I don't carry on converstaions other than similar phrases that you listed. The worst is calling out an other person name during, however.
