Well, I love Freddie Mercury. Always have. He is the hottest guy. Does anyone agree?

So hot, despite not actually being very good looking. Guys like that facinate me. It's all his 'way'. What a loss.

Mercury was my favorite. Queen and his music and sexiness are sorely missed.

One of the saddest & hardest nights of my life, was the night before Freddie died, I was sat in a TV edit suite in ST Johns Wood, while those closest to him sat and tried to finish the doc interview in which he admitted finally he was gay. We all knew Freddie only had hours to go, and was desperate to have this shown on tv before he died.
Everyone there was working in silence with tears streaming down their faces. It was only finished an hour before it was due to be broadcast, but Freddies wish was realised, it was shown before he died.
We all just left without speaking a word to each other.
I then went home and cried for two days.

I will never watch that documentary again.

I really really miss Freddie, but when I get sad nowadays, I just shut my eyes and remeber him as he was when I worked on the Queen wembley shows in the 1980s.

Freddie Mercurys voice, songs, and his words has filled my life with soothing after a person I deeply loved, and care of died of ovarian cancer. So he didn´t die in vain, But Freddie was a fantastic person.

But also other people helped me through my sorrow, and those I thank too.

Freddie was the absolute best. He was indeed sooooooo sexy. I'm a woman that has had many fantasies involving Freddie.

He seemed like such a good soul too. And no one can even come close to giving a performance like Freddie. He was superb and I miss him so much. He had so much more great music to make. Gone way too soon.

My brother has a towel from Freddie Mercury thrown during one of Queen's concerts...he still has it, sweat, makeup and all....

freddy was the fucking stage god...
I have no limit to the respect for him
but I hate queen right now for continueing with that fucking tool they 'replaced' him with

sounds like crappy covers of an awesome band

there is/was a local queen cover band here called "queen for a day" their singer i swear was freddy reincarnated!!! he sounded exactly like him, but also once he was onstage, looked just like him. most amazing thing i ever saw. they recently disbanded. it sucks too, cause they were great. i'm checking to see if their myspace page is still up....

I do have to say the musician I miss most is Frank Zappa, but even he knew I was going to miss him, & in his will he left me some DAT tapes with some unreleased material on, it made me feel special but very decisive in my decision never to break his trust by bootlegging them. A couple of weeks after he died I was fortunate enough to sit in on a session in a studio where a lot of the musicians he worked with just sat there and played his songs, it was their way of saying goodbye, Warren Cucurillo & Steve Vai both played some blinding solos, my regret is no-one recorded the session.

When I go to heaven, and get to have my dream concert, Queen will be the opening (or closing, I haven't decided yet) act.
