I love being surprised. But I've met many many people who absolutely hate it.

What do you like about it or vice versa?

It depends on the surprise but as a general rule, I'm such a control freak that surprises don't usually make me very happy. I'm trying to be a little more relaxed about them though.

Only if it's a genuine surprise. If someone tells me a surprise is coming I'm a total mess...it drives me crazy.

Jesus people, work with me here. Surprises are by definition not something that you know is going to happen, so by answering "depends on what the surprise is..." doesn't fucking count.

*chuckle*

Good surprises (being greeted with an e-mail, card, being told your Bill Gates bastard son and he owes you millions...) are very good.

Bad surprises (being told you owe the governments hundreds or worse, finding out someone you thought you loved didn't exactly love you enough to stay faithful) are very bad.

I love suprises! They just make my day, well the good ones!

OK, if the surprise is a gift, then I'm all for it but if the surprise is someone showing up at my door ....................... I'm probably going to be upset even if it's someone I want to see. I can just see me being all worked up because the house was a mess and I was in grubby clothes or something along those lines. I said I was a control freak but one that's trying to reform.
:D

I'm just a kid at heart. :)

I adore surprises .....especially those thoughtful ones like someone giving or sending you something that they know that you've been wanting (but won't buy for yourself), or something that you never thought about getting for yourself before.

I like surprises. It's rare I ever get anything to be surprised about, but I enjoy them when the do happen.

I like surprises but I think only one person has ever really surprised me. Still teases me to this day about it. When we first moved from NY to Vegas my husband had to stay behind to train his replacement. So I was here all by myself for 3 months. He surprised me on my doorstep the weekend after Halloween.

Totally. If I know a surprise is coming, I will go nuts trying to figure out what it is.

Here ya go, a surprise for you:)

I love being surprised, any nice surprise will do. My favourite of all time was waking up to find my second wife giving me a blow job, isn't that how we should all wake up. lol

I love surprises. They bring a huge smile to my face. However, some surprises are a bit overboard. If the surprise either infringes upon my privacy or my day to day life when uninvited, I hate it. I think there is a great deal of decorum that goes into planning a surprise. You must consider the feelings of the other person.

lavy honey, I think you nailed it babe.

Finding an extra unexpected hundred in my paycheck? Good.

Finding myself confronted by Cheaters? Bad.

Generally, I like suprises.

Not really. Once in awhile is ok..like flowers or gifts. But nothing really shocking.

Oh yay! :) What's in it?

Generally I view a surprise as something positive. Something negative is a shock.

Being proposed to out of the blue is a surprise. Finding your husband in bed with another man and a lawn gnome is a shock. Your friend buying you a new car is a surprise. Your friend wrecking your car by filling it with chickens before you go to work is a shock.

It's your box..you can have anything you want in it.

If your friend fills your car with chickens before work, you need a new friend. If its after work, well then thats different.
