Ok, I'm considering buying my lady a nice glass dildo because they look so smooth and hard I think we would have fun with it. Help me out ladies are they all they are cracked up to be? Tell me if I should buy her one and what you like about them.

From a MALE perspective---

I have bought and used MANY glass didlos in the past. Pyrex is preferred. I have been told that the SOLID feeling is quite enjoyable, although you must be a little careful, as they don't flex and bend like the real thing. I got into them (as it were), because a long time ago I was dating someone with a rubber allergy -- that was how I got hooked on glass. They are much easier to clean than rubber, and you can get some really cool looking ones with textures, colors, and swirls. In my humble opinion, they are well worth the price.

ONE critically important word of advice.

GLASS CAN BE COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A common heating method is microwaving, althought I am not fond if it. Soaking in HOT water is good, but remember that it has to be at a COMFORTABLE temp.

As a side note, glass is very, VERY good at transmitting vibration (hint hint hint).

Apart from that, be careful not to drop them.

ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought of buying a small collection of flat based glass dildos and using them as an artistic display in my bedroom. For some reason the idea of actually using one does not appeal to me at all!

I love mine

Got a glass dildo for my birthday. Have used it several times and is currently my fave toy. I like it cause it feels so good and it is easy to clean. Spend the money it is well worth it.

Nice

Well, so far no negative comments. I knew I could count on the Lit crowd for some good info. Anyone else? :)

Um, well, *coughcough* . . .I own only one toy, and it was acquired just a few months ago . . .almost accidently, sort of. I just never had the desire or felt the need for a toy, and it's still not something I *need*, just a nice diversion every once in a while.

Oh, yes, the topic. ;) It's glass, and actually quite lovely. I like it but I've never had any other kind so I can't compare to anything else. (well I *could* compare it to something else, but there is no comparison to that, ever.)

So yes, if she likes toys, I'd recommend the pyrex glass, but the best "toys" are really the hearts and minds and bodies and hands and eyes and tongues and lips and and and, you get the idea . . . :cathappy:

I don't own one, but I have considered many, many times about purchasing one. I have a friend who swears by hers.

Maybe Santa will "stuff my stocking" with one this year ;)
