I've just been watching a program about tattoos, and was wondering how many here have a tattoo?

I would love to get some ink done on my back on arms. Ive seen people with all these tattoos that dont make sense or anything and looks horrible on them. I really hope that doesnt happen with me.

So far I have 3 tattoos, and I currently have my tattoo artist working on a fourth, I can hardly wait for him to get done!

Tats, i like ink

I have 3 tattoos, but one is only half done. It is on my right calf. The other two are 9 years old, one on my right arm and one on my left wrist. I waited until I was sure I wanted them, and I don't regret them for a minute. I have plans to finish the one, and get 2 or 3 more over the next 2 years.

I got my tattoo 3 years ago and love it. It is a family coat-of-arms from my grandmother's family. I feel a since of pride in my ancestors every time I look at it and am reminded of that families moto "pour ben faire": strength for good. I want more!

I have one tat, done about 11 years ago now. It is still in beautiful condition. I have been thinking of getting an anklet, but they are so expensive, and i'm always broke when I'm really in the mood to think about it, lol. And DB....you would look sexy with a little ink, baby!

Well, give me a holler when you're coming over, and I will let you know how to get here. It isn't hard to find from the midwest, though you might find yourself a bit out of sorts in the south. We DO speak a little different version of English than what the founders are used to.

BTW, bring some artwork you might want, cause he will do some drawings for transfer.

Both my tats can only by seen by those I want to see them, and the rest will be the same. And they all will have meaning to me.

I have one so far. I'm not going to mention what it is because it's sort of unique -- the "thing" sort of is and the actual design definitely is, as I got it off tissue paper -- and I tend to show it a lot during the summer. Not ready to be recognized yet. =.) It's on the back of my left shoulder and I have no regrets at all.

I'm planning to get another in October, commemorating the Canes' Stanley Cup win. It's either going on my lower back or lower abs, just inside the bikini line.

(nctodd, you wouldn't happen to know any great artists in Raleigh, would you? Or could your friend recommend one or two? It seems the guy who did my first one is no longer at the shop. You can PM me.)

I will check with my friend, and see if he knows anyone down that way. Give me a couple of weeks, cause vacation is coming up. BTW, how far are you willing to travel?
