Do you have a favorite cup?

I used to, but it is now lost. It was a giant Dunkin Donuts "Cool Down Quick" mug with the penguin on it, sitting under the umbrella, from the Strawberry Coolata's back in 96 or so. It kept my drink so cold for a long time. I really liked that cup.

Man, I miss that cup. :(

Now I am drinking out of this stupid cup that will never compare to my old cup.

It's okay, I'll cope. I just wondered if I am the only freak who is partial to a certain cup.

I've got ten coffee cups hanging next to the pot. Only three of them ever get used, and that's only when my travel cup from "the Coffee Beanery" needs washing.

I have a ceramic mug - one of the tall ones - that I bought in a gift store at the Petrified Forest in Arizona this last March. It's perfect, because I can brew a cup of green tea, strain it right into the mug, and there's still plenty of room to throw in some ice and sugar for my morning drink.

I misplaced it a couple of days ago (found it eventually - right where I last left it, believe it or not) so I went for two days using little mugs. Sucked!

Cool, I am not alone in this.

I want everyone to share about their cups. I bet you everyone has at least a 'secret' cup, they keep in the closet from the rest of us.

Harold, Do they let you drink water out there in that God forsaken parched parcel?

Myst, I am gonna hold you to it..... You are a role model to us all.

Never is in the closet.

Laurel, You must be traumatized by those days without your mug. I know the feeling. Oh, and I am proud of you for making Green Tea your breakfast drink of choice. The anti oxidizing power far exceeds that of vitamin E. We must keep our Mistress Laurel healthy for the years to come.

Yes. My Purple Coca-Cola insulated mug!

It is huge and insulated, I carry that mofo all over the place with me.

And yes, Starfishy, I would eat you.

Nice, thanks Angel!

I am getting the picture that most favorite cups are actually GIANT MUGS! (mine was too, giant, insulated, with a big handel.)

Yes, Never, the cup closet.

You are either hiding the fact that you have a favorite cup or you are needing to go out and get a favorite cup and yell it to the world, here on my thread.

Of course they let us drink water. I usually don't though, cause it chips my teeth if it isn't filtered. I have to delime my coffee maker monthly, and I should do it weekly.

These are the three that get used. All are twelve ounce mugs.

This is the travel mug -- Also a twelve ouncer. It's insulated, so it gets used for hot and cold drinks.

This is the one I would use around the house if it didn't have gold on it that keeps it out of the microwave.

PS: It's a 32 ounce mug -- or two and a half times any of the other four.

harold you have too much time on your hands love

:p

Well, I was about to go take pictures of my cabinet to show my lack of mugs and cups and glasses. Glad I didn't or Siren would be scared.

I had 5 of these great goblets but 3 have broken and I am pissed.

Harold, That big mug is a keeper.

That's a souvenir of my fiftieth birthday trip to Disneyland.

What is neat, that's for Disneyland's 44th birthday, and the previous time I spent my birthday at Disneyland was my 44th. Now I've only got another four years before I can go back and get my fiftieth birthday mug. <G>

...kinda scary these pix of your mugs.....

mmmmmmmmm

The nice thing about a digital camera -- Those pictures didn't exist when Starfish asked about water in the desert. It only took about 15 minutes to set up the mugs, take the pictures, download them and crop them. It took most of the fifteen minutes to upload them.

Harold is right. It is easy to share things with a digital camera.

Time for La Siren to invest in a little clicky clicky.....

Here is my current subsitute for my old cup.
