In the correct category, sure (and I see it is posted in "non-erotic"). It is self expression in the marketplace of ideas. I certainly don't agree with the content, but the way to combat "bad" speech is not to suppress it, but to confront it with more speech. It seems like a number of people are expressing their countering opinions in the public comment section, and someone could very well be inspired to post a detailed rebuttal. Minds can only be changed when engaged with other minds and confronted with other opposing ideas. A full discussion of issues is always preferable to censorship, even if the discussion is unpleasant.
If you have a problem with the story, use the 'report problems with this story' link. That's about all you can do. The moderators believe in freedom of speech as has been proven over the last few months with a few others who've gone way over the line.
Beyond that, nothing else you can do except ignore the story and move on.
Let him say whatever he want's. The voting and comments have proven he is in the minority. His idea, built entirely in in his own `Extremely Little Mind` will never come to fruition. Never gonna happen ...... Sammual is definitely psychotic, and nothing anyone says will ever change his own beliefs. He has a right to spout his vitrol and speak his mind. I just wonder if the library knows he is using a public computer to spread his demented way of `Hate`? I would almost feel sorry for him, but that would be a waste of a few seconds of my life ..... What a `FNG` loser
My guess about all this is that the author either created an alt or had one of his friends come in here with a new user name and post the link to the story so it'd get attention. Exactly what he wanted. Although, I think it's the lowest score I've seen on a story. Last I looked it was a 1.56. (In case you didn't know, you can see the score of a story by searching for it in the category it's posted in)
Best just to let this one fall to the bottom of the heap.
Guys, free speech requires giving space to the extremes of opinion. Didn't the Supreme Court say it only fell foul if someone shouted 'fire' in a packed theater.
