Do you ever want to be someone else?

Never wanted to just be somebody, anybody else. But I have found myself, on occasion, wishing I were Bill Gates. "Money doesn't make you happy" is mostly propaganda to keep us poor people in line. Or Angelina Jolie. I'd just strip and do calesthenics in front of a mirror all day long...

No, it's not lame. Most people want to be someone else for a while. Would be nice to get away from your problems.

Two legs, 7 1/2 inches. But if, as philosophers claim, what you do is what you are, well...

Nahhhh, I like being me..I just wish I was me somewhere else. :)

Nope. I guess I'll stay with my own gender. I DON'T want to have to go throguh labor,(and, menstration.)

would a pussy do

I would love to be Lioness's lil pus.....so I can 1) lick myself into 2005 and 2) so all these sexy woman who have trouble with man relations welcome me without judgement....

Haven't wished to be someone else since I don't want their problems...only wish I was better able to voice my opinion at times.

I like being me...I just wish sometimes I didnt have to deal lol..but i think we all do..and I bet if we all put our problems out on the table and saw what others had to deal with...we would take our own back...not only because they are OURS..but because we are familar with them....SO even when life makes you think you want to be someone else...just remember how special YOU are...and try to do something nice for yourself...just my opinnion! :-D

to get to other

Lioness, well when u put it that way (your take on my statement) I wish I wouldnt have said it, BUT....if your take was what my intentions were, you would be....well ok lets pretend that it never happened...lol

I'm usually OK being me - and, of course, one goes through life pretty unhappy if one isn't comfortable being themselves.

However - it would certainly be fun to try out a few different bodies/personalities and see what happens.

Now the body thing isn't really possible. But you can try out alternate personalities - it can be quite an enlightening experience.

The following excercises are from "Prometheus Rising" by Robert Anton Wilson:
  • Convince yourself (if you are not already convinced) that you are ugly, unattractive and dull. Go to a party in that frame of mind. Observe how people treat you.
  • Convince yourself (if you are not already convinced) that you are a handsome (or pretty), irresistable and witty. Go to a party in that frame of mind. Observe how people treat you.

Now - want to try a couple other excercises?

Believe it is possible that you can float off the ground and fly by merely willing it. See what happens.

If that proves as disappointing to you as it has to me, try this next excercise - which is NEVER disappointing.

Believe that you can exceed all your previous ambitions and hopes in all areas of your life.
