Do you ever laugh...

Do you pull the wings off flies

No, because if I did that, I would be nasty.:p

You are such a WISEASS!!!!!! "Laugh it up, fuzzball.":p

hahahahahahahahaha!!!

No way. That would be cruel.

Someone laughed at my pain this week. I know that they didn't mean to be cruel. If fact, after she stopped giggling, she apologized. For some people, seeing someone trip and fall,(or any such thing,) can set off a giggle,(provided they aren't seriously injured.)

I suppose "pain" was the wrong word to use. If someone trips, it can produce a set of giggles.

I'm sorry to hear that Nasty. I hope you weren't hurt. I know how cruel that could be.

It wasn't a serious injury. It was like, if someone tripped, it sets off giggles. I can't even remember what it was that happened.

I have seen lots of people laugh when someone falls. Didn't Chevy Chase build a whole career around that at one point?
It can be a nervous reflex like laughing when getting screamed at (something I do). The laugh stops almost immediatley and is usually followed by an embarassed apology. I usually reserve laughing until I know the person is all right.

One of the funniest things I ever saw was a stand up comic fall off the stage in the middle of his routine. He was being very nasty after targeting a woman who didn't laugh during his act. The whole place broke up when she started laughing at his fall as she gulped "Now that's funny".:D

if we didn`t laugh,

then the producers of all those shows where you get a big $250 dollars for every video clip used would be busted!

I guess we all laugh at other peoples "mishaps" like trips or falls - and do the "shit - I am sure glad it wasn`t me!" thing...but to laugh at true and acute pain (mental or physical) would be and is so very wrong...

any time i get hurt i laugh hysterically... it doesnt hurt as much then.. but i'm also usually doing somethign really stupid to get hurt... i laugh even harder cuz everyone is always asking me if i'm ok.. and all i can think is "i'm laughing, doesnt that answer your question?"

of course

and i don't think that makes me a horrible person. I'm not talking about omg, you broke your leg? hahahahahahaha

more along the lines of crashing through the woods on a foxhunt and seeing someone come off... obviously not seriously injured, but standing there dumbfounded and contemplating the long ass walk back to the trailers as their horse gallops merrily away. i fell off my horse at a horseshow a few weeks ago... chipped a vertebrae (sp?) ... once i sat back up, everyone was cracking jokes and offering sage advice like... "when we talk about a proper landing over a fence, we mean ON the horse"... it takes the mind off. (course a good long drink from the flask always helps)

That's what I'm talking about. I'm not saying someone broketheir leg,"OMG, THAT'S FUNNY!!!!!!" If someone were in actual, physical pain, I DEFINETELY wouldn't be laughing. That's cruel. You're not a horrible person.
