Or do you just go crazy all over the page?

Do you like markers best, or do you prefer crayons?

there are only lines if I put them there.

I melt my crayons.

I'm not really a marker person.

but I love ink.

Crayons. The 64 pack with the sharpener in the back. And I color in the lines. I usually add a thick edge of the color (or a darker complimentary color) around the border and color inside. Then I get a cool shaded effect.

Rassa frassin....

that was me unregistered up there....

now I'm really not going to color in the lines!!

I always color exactly within the lines, an old side effect from time spent with an obsessive complusive kindergarten teacher (anything shy of perfect was redone).

I love crayons, but only when they're new.

I prefer

oil pastels so I can mush them around with my fingers. (I'm a little sensual that way)

I color inside the lines and then add my own background that goes off the page.

What does that mean?

inside the lines and with crayons

i can't wait until i get a classroom of my own and can color with my kids, although i won't make them color inside the lines if they don't want to. :)

I like crayons, more blending ability, and as for staying inside the lines... it depends on the theme. Are we doing Alice in Wonderland, or The CareBears?

Only at gun point
and for first posts!!!

Did you ever hear that song from Harry Chapin?

*tring to remember*

"Flowers are red, young man,
Green leaves are green.
There's no need to see flowers any another way
then the way they always have been seen!

But the little boy said!

There are so many colors in the rainbow.
So many colors in the morning sun.
So many colors in a flower,
and I see every one."

That's me!

What lines? I can't see the lines.

Sometimes I drift outside the lines if I feel it's necessary.

And I'm a colored pencil person myself. Thin contact like markers, only drier.

Have to admit I am the same only it was an OC older sister.

I love having way too many crayons too choose from!!

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.....

Always in the lines, always with crayons :D

It depends on my mood; there is a certian satisfaction in attempting perfection, but there is also a satisfaction in breaking all the rules.

Life, like coloring, is a composite of both of these.

I swear we are related in some way  I do the same exact thing....

That really depends on the lines. If I like the lines, I'll be nice to them and color inside...if I don't care too much for them, I'll get my scribble on. All over the page.

I like crayons...the waxy shine is good stuff.

As someone who works with 5-6 year olds, I prefer crayons over markers. Less mess and they are more versatile. For them I have to color in the lines but personally, as long as I am cutting it out, I don't care.
