I believe (on my knees praying this is true right now and does not come as a flippin painful ego lesson) we create hell in our minds by judging ourselves and our actions.

we are in heaven~ this is heaven "on Earth as it is in Heaven"
and the only hell is what we create in our mind.
so yes, unfortunately I see *frowning* I do believe in hell because I do judge myself ...grrrrr.... but

hello all im very new here luna had finaly given me the site and i joined. well to get on the subject at hand. i persay dont believe in heaven and hell but if i did i would be the one to great everone when they get to the 7th plain.. well hope to get to know most of you that know luna. hope you A/all have fun this eve.

I don't believe in sin, but I do believe in evil. I don't believe in the afterlife as such. I do believe in spirituality. What can I say... I'm an agnostic.

My own belief says life is what you make of it -- if you are nasty to people and horrible, then you will create a hell of your own for yourself. Life can be hellish. Why do we need to wait for an afterlife?

So in that respect, I do believe in hell. But not as in somewhere you can go, but something you can create of your life.

You know, thats not in my perview. I think that old saw about"Why does God allow all the evil in the world" applies here. Does my sinners pittance equate with Hitler, the rape of Nanking, the slaughter of the Tutsis in Africa, or the killing fields of Cambodia? The Battle of Gettysburg or Auschwitz? Me thinks not, tho Id LOVE to be as cosmically important as the perps of these atrocities(at least my ego would). Mine ar sheep shit in shallow water, man! Id imagine my friends who have klled in combat and such would rather think that a little fornication and "alternative lifestyle" doesnt compare with what they must wake up with each morning(some for 60 years or more).

I agree.

I am a Christian and believe quite strongly in the Bible, including heaven and hell. I also believe in a loving God who wants everyone to have heaven to look forward to, and that hell is probably pretty darn empty.

Well for me, if their's no hell that means (at least to me) that theirs no heaven. And if their's no heaven, and our spirits just, I dunno die after we do (or even worse, we gotta do it again) I QUIT! There are days were the only thing that gets me through is knowing that someday I'm gonna be in heaven and my body won't hurt anymore. I will be healthy and agile and strong, and all this will have been worth it.
