Do you believe in love at first sight? The fact that you don't yet know that person you are staring at with a sparkle in your eye and dirty thoughts in your mind, further defines that it is lust! What do you believe?

I most definitly do. You get a deep down feeling as if you have known that person forever and feel 'at home' with them. However, one might not recognize it or want to acknowledge it at first.

not to get all mushy but...

I knew as soon as I saw my husband that it was him...it was as if we had only been apart for a long time and were reunited. There has never been a doubt that we will be together forever...it's as if there is no other choice. We never went through that akward first stage in a relationship....not even for a second. As Never stated on another thread Karma has a lot to do with it I really do believe that it was just supposed to be. I can tell as soon as he walks into the room what he is feeling and thinking...

I also believe that it doesn't just pertain to "LOVE" but to friendship also...I have met many people...and I usually have a sense of them in the first 2 minutes, I am *almost* always right in my predictions of character,even those people who everybody loves and thinks they are great, I know better.Maybe I just have a heightened awarness of people...who knows.

It's not always a good thing to have.

I don't know if it was love at first sight, but I have to say that the first time I met my sweetie, it felt like we had know each other forever. The second date, I knew he was for me & we have been together ever since. I also think that friendship at first sight is possible. I met my best friend in a chat room, we met in person a few weeks later & we are as close as sisters now. From the first minute, it was as if we had always known each other. When I got home from the hospital the night Justin died, I called my 2 sisters & then my friend. It just felt like the thing to do.
