Some women do, some women don't. For me, it's something that requires a lot of trust. My husband is the only person that I'll ever let near my ass.
If, as superwhore says, it's done right, anal play can be a lot of fun. However, if one's experiences with anal come from watching too much porn, then that can be a problem.
