When the replies stop, the thread moves down the page, then off the page. Eventually it ends up in the archives.

If you want to revive a thread of yours, then you could click on profile at the bottom of one your posts. On the page that opens, you'll see "search for all posts by this user" near the top of the page. This way you can look through all your posts and open up the thread you want -- no matter how old it is. You can then post to the thread and it will be brought back to the top of the current page on the poetry board.
At least, this is how I do.
There's also "search" at the top of the page so you can find something in particular.

There's a menu option at the bottom of the poetry board page also. It can show threads from the last 30 days, 45, up to the beginning of Lit.

Thank you, Eve, again. Profile worked. It was interesting to look at the threads from a few months back.

The search at the top of the page is the one which I use routinely but it doesn't seem to go back far. Otherwise it is very useful.

Thank you KD too. I can't say that I see that menu entry at the bottom of my )) poetry board page. Do you mean the menu just under each post? Indeed, this works too. Thank you again. Both of you.

Now I see it, you are right, KarmaDog, of course. I was checking not the bottom of the poetry board page but of this very thread (the same would hold for any thread, I am sure). Thank you,
