Had this thought and seems some do and some don't. So just an informal poll to see what you gurls think?

i would love to be a housewife taking care of my mans needs and keeping the house nice for him and of course i would want the white dress ,the whole wedding bit and then dinner on the table when he comes home from work all of it .

Sounds nice, where do I sign up?

I'm on the fence, on this one.
While being a housewife sounds wonderful-being taken care of, pampered, and have a great man who needs me when he gets home-and turns me on.

The thought of living on my own, getting dolled up and going out and meeting new guys and having them lust after-and flirt with-me gets me so damned horny...

Either way, I think the important thing is to know that I am sexy and that guys want and need what I have.

I'm not even sure I'm a t-girl, but I have fantasies of being a wife and mother.

I'd love to find a wife who sometimes acted like a husband in the bedroom. lol or the shower, the kitchen, the backyard....

I suspect among those who see themselves as women, want to transition, and go through the process, that those id'ing as wanting to be with men after transition probably do have the idea of getting married, or at least having some type of permanent relationships (same thing for those id id as lesbian, of course, but I was staying with opposite sex/gender marriage).

On the other other hand, very few of them probably want the 1950's housewife stereotype that some have posted on here (which is fine, those are fantasies), IRL those who go on to transition are going to be like women in general, where the 1950's suzy homemaker greeting her man at the door with a martini and not much else on died a long time ago. Most married women work these days, have careers, and I suspect like most women, a t girl who transitions isn't going to be that much different..plus quite frankly, having grown up, and socialized as males, I don't think they would put up with being treated second class or whatever like a 1950's housewife (some might, of course, some might be submissive bd/sm types who play it out like that, some might be attracted to that), but for the most part, if t gals want to get married, I would say they would have the same expectations (and complaints) women born that way do.

I'm not part of the target market, but I did want to say that you might want to try adding a poll to this poll, so you can poll people.

i do want to be that 50s type housewife ,oh sure it is a fantasy but that would be my ideal .it is what i have always dreamed of being and i agree that not all of us want the same thing .

Some do and some don't - you said it.
Good luck with the poll :) Put me down as a quite possibly
Please don't spell girl with a 'u' :rose:

Sorry Sticky...Had a few that night and was a random thought I'd ask.And yes seems some do some don't.

Well I'm sure you ladies would make excellent wives. Only hope to be lucky enough to find one myself.

Do I want to be a wife?

Does grass grow on golf courses?

Wow, if I could be married, to a man, be his wife, I'd do it in a heartbeat. It's what I've dreamed about since before I knew I was transgendered. The wedding, the dress, the wedding night, the honeymoon...all of it, even before I knew what gender roles really were.

I would love to be married, to be a wife. Honestly, I'd love to be a stay-at-home wife/mother as well. I just have a very giving, loving nature, and I want to share that with a man who loves me, for me, for what I am, and is comfortable with what I'm not, and loves me anyway.

So, yes, I'd love to be a wife. In fact, it's what I dream of.
