Do Ren & Stimpy have a D/s relationship?

Okay, okay, okay...i know you all are rolling your eyes, but last night I watched TNN...or whatever they are going to call this new Men's Channel once they clear up their court hearing over the name "Spike TV"...

but anyway...last night was the premier of some animated shows within the context of TNN's new adult animation block. These are NEW Ren & Stimpy shows (they are re-airing the old ones, too) as well as Stripperella and Gary the Rat.

As I sat and watched the Ren and Stimpy show...i was really amazed at how sexually the artists portrayed the relationship between these 2 sick creatures who exist in animated form.

At the beginning of the clip, Stimpy tried to get Ren's attention and Ren does the classic "I have a headache, no sex tonight" routine which was amusing... as the clip went on to different things, I didnt think about it much other than thinking to myself "Stimpy is rather submissive"....all swooning and making eyes at Ren...Ren is rather controlling (bordering on abusive however)

At a later point in the clip (it is at this point that I should explain that Ren and Stimpy are down and out on their luck and live in the mouth of some nasty bum...so...well...its a weird cartoon..what can I say )...ANYWAY...Ren rolls over to sleep and his little cartoon ass is sticking up...the epiglottis hanging from their "ceiling" lengthens and starts licking and pushing into Ren's ass...i was like WTF...this is a CARTOON...on regular cable!!

So Ren is sleeping with this thing in his ass...then he realizes...wakes up and starts yelling at Stimpy..

Ren: What did I tell you?!?! Who is the pitcher and who is the catcher Stimpy?" and starts yelling about he said he didnt want any action tonight.

Stimpy stutters and replies very quickly and excitedly: "Youre the picther! I'm the catcher! You're the pitcher! I'm the catcher!"

A later clip shows Ren weilding a nice bullwhip and whipping the "skin" off of some potatoes. (yes, yes...remember this is all animation )

I dunno, maybe I am nuts....or maybe the show is nuts...or maybe the whole world is nuts...but I totally saw these 2 freaky creatures in some kind of sexual realtionship and it certainly felt and seemed rather Dominant for Ren and submissive for Stimpy.

I was just so intrigued by how OPEN and out there this show was with some of it's concepts...especially since it only came on at 9pm and on TNN!

One thing that did kind of bother me was that after the whole ass licking scene was over....and things had kind of settled down...Stimpy was sitting there all quiet and subdued...and Ren just up and bashes Stimpy in the face for no reason at all.

Anyone else see this fucked up show and care to comment?

No, I haven't seen it, but in John Redcorn's trailer in King of the Hill, he has the bdsm symbol on the wall. I found that to be funny. I guess Nancy was getting more than sex.

I too watched the Ren and Stimpy cartoon last night and I ROLLED laughing. Especially at the "whipped potatoes".

I also thought it was hillarious at the very end when Stimpy was by the bed with the heart shaped headboard in a motel ("Look Ren, the bed already came with a wet spot!" ewwww!) Ren comes out from behind the blind - dressed as a pitcher! Stimpy throws on a catchers outfit, with the catching mitt mounted to his ass - with a big hole in the center of the mitt! Ren threw the baseball up Stimpy's ass, jumped into the bed after him and they started to fuck like crazy. This is NOT the same old Ren and Stimpy we used to get on Mtv.

Yes, there is a definately a homosexual D/s relationship there.

I was particularly fond of the way Stimpy fantisized Ren turning into Tony Curtis with his shirt off.

He told me about the last episode of R&S that aired on Mtv. They were travelling salesmen selling rubber nipples.

They knocked on the door of the horse character that showed up in the cartoon from time to time and asked "would you like to buy some rubber neeeeples?" The horse replied "no, but have you got any rubber walrus covers?" and dragged to the door... a walrus in bondage! The walrus popped out with a strained "caaalll the poliiiiice...." The horse shoved him back inside, said "time to go!" and slammed the door in their faces!

After that Mtv was kind of done with R&S.

Striperalla wasn't as good as I hopped, jokes were kinda lame & obvious
Here's the Ren & Stimpy story....
John Kisfaluci, madman & genius, started it as late-night ADULY animation for MTV
The geniuses at VIACOM moved it to Nickelodeon and then complained when Krisfaluci wouldn't make his show "safe for kids"
After the horse/walrus thing and the never-aired (until TNN ran it Monday as a promo for the new lineup) "Mt Liquor" episode, they fired Krisfaluci but used contractual controls to keep the show
They continued the show with other writers & voice talent, notable Billy West, formerly of the Howard Stern show
But the cartoons got LAME
TNN hired Krisfaluci, bought back the rigths to the show, and said "MaKe it the way YOU want it"
And Nico? Tony Curtis? I thought it was Rock Hudson?

I must say that I thought the regular ren and stimpy were horrible, I had to watch them while babysitting my younger siblings oi. But after seeing them on TNN, I'm going to become an avid watcher..haha..
Adult Swim on Cartoon Network (after 10) on Sunday nights, does the same thing to The Brack Show, Oblongs, Home Movies, Sea Lab, AcquTeen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman, and Space Ghost... sort of childish not as bad as Ren and Stimpy on TNN was... but totally changed for adult viewers. Enjoy.

I personally LOVED Ren and Stimpy's first Master who got them from the pet shop...Charlie Liquor? Was that his name? A complete wack job. Stimpy had no problem with submission, but Ren didn't take too quickly or kindly to it.

Oh man! That first episode re-aired last night, and my girlfriend and I saw it - baseball scene and all! That is definitely a gay D/s relationship...at least in that episode. Sometimes it varies, I think. But "you're the pitcher I'm the catcher" - HEE!
