Do people really meet here in person

We are new here and just wondering if these personell adds work like most others. Do people really hook up with other like minded adults here ?
We are a couple in Connecticut that is always looking to explore new and exciting things to do sexually. Female is very attractive and very bi.
Just curious as to the purposer of these boards.

Well, my first introduction here was a personal ad. I didn't "advertise" to meet anyone, just exchange emails. I received some pretty good responses. Some I've even kept in touch with to this day - and it has been over 6 months.

I did have the honor of meeting 2 men from here, but neither one were men that I met on the "Personals" board. One I met at Lit while we were playing together on the Sexual Role Play board, and the other was a gentleman I met in the Lit chatroom.

I have heard of folks meeting from Lit - but usually they are on the General Board, or other forum at Lit. I think it has to do with getting to know a person a bit before actually meeting up with them in person. Talking to some one on the BBs or in the chatrooms sort of lays the groundwork for an actual, in person meeting, more than posting an ad here would, I think.

Still, I'm only one opinion.

Meeting IRL

Meeting does happen, it doesn't always lead to sex- but I've met a few people IRL that I've met here first- none thru a personal ad tho- they followed my posts & pm'd me, and one thru the chat room.

Posts can get buried quickly, you might want to bump yours every now & then if it starts dropping behind.

I know you said you were from NW CT, what town are you near? Just curious, I'm also from NW CT.

Hi Jellybean girl and happy CT couple. I didn't think any nutmeg people were out there. This is a great place to chat and unwind after a long day. We too are a CT couple (Shelton, actually) Someone in a previous post said it best "just supply common interests and friendships are sure to follow" or something like that.
Anyone know of some good ski areas within reasonable distance to us. He and I are dedicated to finding sometime to try this out (he says "I'll probably come home with a cast but we have never done it before and would appreciate some pointers.

I'm not much of a ski person...never been actually..but there is Ski Sundown in New Hartford, CT- and Mohawk Mtn.- not sure where that is...not much help, I know- but good luck skiing!

Snow fun....

From where I am, Hartford, Ski Sundown is about 25 minutes away, 35-40 with snowy driving. Its a DECENT place, its good, but obviously not the best or biggest. But if all you want to do is have some fun and rip or shred the powder, then its all good!
Actually, I'm more of an aggressive inline skater and snowboarder type. But hanging out with some CT people there would be just as fun.

P.S- the ticket price with a rental and NO lesson there is $56 last i did it, and since I've gotten my own board(YAYYY!) the lift cost is supposed to be about $32-$36 from like noon until 5, but dont count on it, you can always use the noon til 5(or whenever!) ticket/tag for as long as you want, the area is prettymuch run by local highschool kids, so they dont give a rats ass about checking tags.

Great to find some CT folks here. I agree with a previous post about updating periodically. The post can get lost if it is not attended to regularly. I'm in New Haven area and have corresponded with a few others. Usually they go nowhere and have yet to meet anyone live. Usually the writing stops when I get into the married with kids statement. Oh well. Would love to meet or just chat with others in the area, single or couples. Anyone else in southern CT. Lots of sites around, so if you're in the area let me know and I can at least point you in some cool directions.
