Been here awhile, but want to do more as I go through a new chapter in my life. I wish to workout more, and write more and that includes posting here. So rather than lack of knowledge hold me back I have a few questions....

First how does one post pictures in a thread? This includes pictures I have on my computer. I'd like to post some of them as part of stories or other threads.

Second how do I setup links to my threads where one just has to click on the title or whatever you write? I hope some understands what I mean.

Third how do you shrink images for your avatar? There are many that I like, but seldom are they the right size.

Forth what is the best way to get all material from a thread? I've been cutting and pasting, but is there a better way? Also once I'm done is there a way to eliminate threads?

Oh and btw how do you move on when a long term writing partner and real time friend and lover from Lit has completely cut you off (just stopped responding to calls, text, email no explanation ), but is back writing here again. I think I'm moving on just feel a dull pain. I know it is for the best and I don't wish her ill, hell I don't even know what's going on.. Whatever I'm rambling and asking questions.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice. Want to start enjoying writing again, and frankly one can't be a writer unless you write. I can edit crap, but I can't edit nothing.

All of these are answered in our FAQ Sticky. It sounds like you'd do well to read through it anyway, since it likely also contains answers to questions you just haven't thought about yet. That thread will also tell you how to search easily using Google so you can find answers to other questions you have quickly.

What, exactly, are you trying to do? Why would you need to copy everything from a thread and check the thread off your list when you're done?

Was she attached/married? I think that's probably the primary reason people cut off communication - their partners find out they're screwing around and demand they cut ties.

Anyway, while I think this is probably a topic for a different thread, you'd deal with it just as you would any other breakup and remember if someone cuts communication without any notice, it wasn't meant to be or that great of a relationship to begin with. Wish them well in their life and move on to better things in your life.

Thanks Erika...finding out more as the day goes on today. Thanks for a point in the right direction.
