The majority of the women I've spoken to on the subject prefer guys to trim, but not shave. How close is a matter of personal preference, but mostly you want to keep your hair out of their mouth when they're going down on you.

Some women do enjoy the look/feel of a shaved guy, but they're more the minority. Better to wait until you're in a sexual relationship with one of them and do it specifically for her.

well i haven't really ever been with a shaved guy so i can't really answer - but i can't really imagine it... on the other hand i suppose preferences could change according to who i like... because as for hair in general (not pubes) i notice that it changes all the time - at one time i find less hair nicer then i find more hair more manly then again i prefer less hair, fortunately it always tends to be just what the guy i like is like... so i guess if i ever was with a guy who shaved his pubes, and really liked this guy, i might suddenly discover that shaved pubes are sexy...

I prefer trimmed, and, in fact, find shaved to be a little disturbing. However, pubes, or lack thereof, wouldn't be a deal-breaker for me.

If someone chose not to pursue a relationship with me because of whether or not I had pubic hair, I probably wouldn't consider that person worth my time, anyway.

Trimmed usually means just that; cutting the hairs shorter - but not shaving them off altogether. This may also include shaving some of the bikini line.

You can trim with any sortof razor. And the normal hair dresser scissors work as well.

A beard trimmer works great.

It's safe and you can adjust the trim settings until you find a length that you like.

Until recently, my husband had a job that required him to be clean-shaven, so he never had a beard, and, therefore, had no reason to own a beard trimmer. He does, however, use my bikini trimmer (since I rarely use it). It's essentially a beard trimmer designed/marketed for women.

I find the thought of people using scissors around their nether regions a little--ow! Unless the hair's really, REALLY long.
