Do female erotica writers...

Could be, but how do you know who's really a female, and who's posing??? These folks here are weird...

All depends. I've known some truly good female authors, and have more of them on my happy list, but the good males are GOOD. And, like was said, we're taking their gender on faith.

It all depends on the writer's..Some women are great and also some men are good writers also..

Well that wasn't nice.

See my sig line, I think I do a decent job. No, gender matters not. It's about commitment, dedication and attention to detail. IMHO.

Mon Dieu! Nessus! Bon soir, madam.

Good to see you.

Women better writers

As much as I would like to agree, I know some great male writers on Lit.

It's always about the quality of the work. The gender doesn't matter all that much.:)

I prefer to read things supposedly written by women, but then the important sex is what's in the story.

There is no such thing as a moral book or an immoral book. Books are well written or badly written. That is all.

I'm sure that applies to the gender of the author as well.

LMAO. Yip I am weird. :D

It is not the gender of the
writer but the quality of the writing
that counts.

I've often found that women can develop a more emphatic understanding of their characters, which, in turn, leads to a more emotionally charged story. I don't know about any one else, but the erotica I prefer involves beautiful and very human relationships. The sexual partners have faces, pasts, personas and are more than a trim and taut body.

I agree 100%. There are some sensitive guys out there that write poignant, erotic pieces with include emotion and fully developed characters.

Emotion is always important in a story to me. Anything without it is just mindless humping.
