You're not even a Republican anymore, Jack. You lost your party to a conman and a Nazi.

Spot on. All Harris had to do was commit the tax relief given by Trump to the 1% to be reallocated to the working and middle class. But the D's had sold out to their corporate mates and Harris, a very poor candidate, had nothing to offer the voting base. The only thing which surprised me about the election result was that Harris got so close without giving working voters any reason at all to vote for her. Adherence to the Progressives agenda made it an electoral suicide note. The only small point our Russian bot/troll friend has here- and it's not even necessarily a valid one- is that the Democrats really should have focused more on economic issues and domestic policy such as health care, in their last campaign.
Independant voters, that is, the ones who voted for Obama in 2012, Trump in 2016, and Biden in 2020, don't care about divisive social issues. They care about how much groceries cost. How easy it will be to attain health care. How easily attainable the American Dream is. Opportunites for jobs. THIS is the kind of thing Harris and the Democrats should have focused on. These social issues might sound great for the .03125% of the population who is transgendered, but the other 99.96875% of the population won't be affected by the politics of transgenderism either way. (That's another problem, that one issue has been WAY too politicized- by BOTH sides, not just the Democrats.)
