I know there are a lot of handy people on this forum. Some own their own homes and others rent.

I thought it would be a good thing to discuss the ways we can make alterations to our different abodes that can be looked at as vanilla decorations, but after the vanillas or children are not around it is converted to the its real purpose.

Don't forget to mention furniture that you can disguise or just leave as is. As long as it is used for D/s and or BDSM purposes, it is fair game.

And remember everyone have fun with it! It can be real or fantasy, always remember one thing:

Accessorize, accessorize, accessorize!!!!

My dining room table. One of my favorite places.

That is a good one. I think the height is almost perfect isn't it?

Yes, it is the perfect height for most men. And the legs of the table provide something to tie onto. Tying... something I like a lot. ;-)

Sitting down to dinner at that table makes for some great memories and sweet glances across the fettuccini bowl, too. LOL

Did you see the ones in my second link? They are sooo nice!

Gooooooood Morning Eb

I saw them....there are only two kinds of beds in this world and I can't pass a Showroom Display of them anywhere without critiquing the obvious and dine out on the sheer fact they are so 'user friendly bdsm lovun style' and yet just there with all the sad beds that have no pervertible potential.

I had/inherited a four poster bed in my Country home quite like the one in your second link. Had the canopy etc. I hated it...I actually found it very claustrophobic.....though I am little strange that way I guess. (Bought with the original home , they never wanted to dismantle ). Fortunately design and fashion dictates from affordable to high end so many options with mainstream beds now huh.

Forgive me I had to share this  :rose:

Same here! Nice solid iron rails with all the cool loops and designs. Great for tying restraints to. :)

No forgiveness is needed. This perfect if you have a big garage and do not want to modify your house.

A barn out back.

Iron rails are great.

I saw a DIY show where they made a four poster with poles like you have at a stip club. yes, the bed are anchored on 4 side with strip poles.

So you know that can bear weight, they were in the ceiling beams. It was nice!

I was attempting to be humorous posting that I sure don't understand how it works even from the advertised site.

Looks like a dark version of a children's jumping castle to me. Can't imagine to much that's sharp would be wise ..........

Our bed has been looking a bit decadent for a few weeks with metal and also velcro cuffs attached at various places on the headboard, chain leash dangling from the headboard post on my side, and ropes looped through the metal foot end. Of course then there are all the other ropes hanging from the spreader bar which hangs on the wall like an innocent rail for hanging things over, the bullwhip and flogger below that, the canes are against the wall on his side, the carpet beater and wallpaper stripper and crops near them and an old wooden sideboard loaded with various clamps, paddles, brushes, etc., then under the bed on his side is a large wooden under the bed tray on wheels which has our supply of needles and first aid kits in it. LOL, as we still have not gotten to the 3rd floor renovations our room has a semi dungeon look with areas of bare concrete wall where I had begun removing the peeling wallpaper, and a concrete floor and the tall A shaped ceiling with wooden beams running the full length of the room.

could always put a sign "NO KNIVES ALLOWED!"

I visited a sub friend who had a spanking bench covered with a table cloth and had books stacked on it. No one knew.

I have a lot of ideas of things I want to make, a spanking bench come storage chest and seat being one.

There is nothing like renovating...but that does not mean you can't have fun. I see you two know how to have fun!

Hopefully you will share some of your ideas with the rest of us!

Oh boy do I have ideas! *giggles* I can't do many of them at the moment because I'm in an apartment, but I have modified a few things. In my bedroom I have two draw pulls (one on each side of the bed) that come in very handy ;) To hide them, and make them blend in a bit more I plan on hanging another pull on each side and loosely threading a few yards of fabric thru and passing the whole thing off as window decorations. (and then I'll have two more pulls!) I used 2 1/2 or 3 inch screws to secure them into the wall. They are very sturdy and do suport my weight enough that I can put my feet on the wall and lift myself off the bed holding on to them. But this (as I've posted else where) is my dream bed.

Moving on to the hall, some nice hooks serve as coat hangers when I'm good (pic 114), and places to chain slave when I'm bad.

And finally my living room. My mom bought me this lantern and I absolutely love it, well them there's two. My ex hung it rather poorly and just by the little loop on the lantern itself. Well, when I was looking around the hard ware store one day I found these lovely little hooks that are made to hang chandalieres, and some length of chain. (see pictures 112 and 113) While it's not sturdy enough to hold my weight it is fun, and does allow for little movement when I'm attached. ;)

And that's my pervertables as of today :cathappy:

I once saw a . . . well it was classified as a fucking machine. But when it was all put away it looked like a footstool for a rocking chair. You know the new ones that rock, too? So you oculd put it right by a chair, and no one wuold have any idea what they just put their feet on.

Also, you could put some heavy duty hooks in the ceiling, and hang a plant from it. Then pull down the plant when you want to use it.

Me and K's bed frame is a waterbed bed frame. K drilled two holes in the base, near the top, then looped one small piece of rope through it. Then he ties any ropes he wants to use to that, instead of to a headboard or anything like that.

At the risk of being completely unimaginative, a weight bench, add some rope, you've got a versatile and easily disguised bondage frame. A little bit of tinkering, and you could easily mount a pillory on it, too. Not that I've done the latter, yet, but the idea's there.

I was hunting this picture once of a bed that had a cage stored underneath so that the dust ruffle covered the cage. I could not find it but saw this as I was perusing http://www.bondagebeds.co.uk/default.asp

I remember seeing that bed, but I don't remember the website. I like the one you found. I wonder how you disguise it to look innocent. Probably use fabric to drape in the loops.
