Explain your user name and I'll answer any question you have on the subject.

I don't like divorce.

But, sometimes the Dragon wins and sometimes there is simply nothing that you can do.

I've never been divorced. I figure it'll be easier to just kill him when the time comes.

Divorce is where I learned to take life as it comes and say: "BURN IN HELL, YOU EVIL BITCH!"

It's been a real eye-opener :D

easier on the Man to just buy you a fuckin house. Be done, lol

I kept my house.

I told her she was free to go and do whatever she wanted. I was staying where I was. She says, "I want the car."

It was a sweet trade for me.

Old joke:

"I just got a new sports car for my wife."
"Wow, where did you find the sucker to take a deal like that?"

The house was in my name...and since I had to kick him out I couldn't keep up with the payments and lost it. It sucked, ruined my credit, but I had no control over it. I wasn't going to live with someone who I didn't love or need to be with anymore.

It took me 2 years to get the divorce, he kept dodging it. I became pregnant with my daughter in 2007 from another relationship after being separated for two years. He finally granted me the divorce in dec 2007, she was born Jan 2008. Her being that close to being born was the ONLY reason he finally gave me the divorce, he didn't want to be financially responsible for her.

Divorce makes me happy :D

Get Educated

Divorce is both emotional and financial. Sane people act like idiots and assholes. Divorce is most of all legal.

Get Informed! There is a lot of information on the web and tons of books, too. You need to know what you are doing and how to do it for the best outcome.

I am NOT suggesting in any way to be dishonest or hurtful. Just know that if it is a contentious divorce you have to be informed about the family court rules in your state and get a good lawyer. Find one that you establish a good rapport with. Get references.

If it's not contentious it can be done fairly simply.

Good luck to you!

P.S. Knowing when to make a change is important. Be clear about why you are doing it and that it is the right decision for you, and then make it happen.

P.P.S. There is a fabulous light at the end of the tunnel!!! It's worth it!

Jeez, officer I swear I thought the gun was unloaded when I started to clean it and she just sat down across the table and BANG and she was dead. I really have no idea how it happened. Or you could move to AZ and do a no fault divorce. $250 for my last one. She got the bucks and I was set free.

"Freedom isn't free." but it is worth it.

Sorry to the OP. I know this is not help full but I had just had to reply to the snark.
