Discretion isn't a rule, it's just a helpful tool, to be used when one deems it appropriate. Honesty is a better policy.

I use a certain amount of discretion so that the insanity doesn't show through...same as real life. Except, I do have those moments when the tongue moves before the brain can stop it...

On the net - I suppose it would be prudent to be a bit discrete as you never know who is looking - my Mum could be a poster god forbid !! -

Discretion is the better part of valor, so yes I do use a lot of discretion when posting. It is easy to hide behind a computer hundreds of miles and say and do things that you would not do in person. How sad!

I try my best to use as much discretion as humanly possible. I don't want my 'stuff' blabbed so I wouldn't dream of doing it to someone else. And for those rare times when my mouth has been engaged long before my brain has had a chance to stop it, I step up and admit what I did. Then I do whatever is needed to make amends and regain that persons' trust.

I'm pretty much an open book, in real life and when posting here.

But if it's not my information to share, I make damn sure that I have the other person permission before I say anything to anyone, again both in r/l and here.

The older I get, the more discrete I have become. Being discrete has its rewards

I do not post as openly as some, but I do now again flash tiny bits of my reality....

You do have to be careful what you reveal online for millions to see, I am more open in private setting....PM, IM and the like....
