DISCORD chat thread

Someone mentioned a Zoom Chat where people could come and go. I thought I'd start something similar using a chat service called Discord.

Discord is primarily voice and text chat. There is the option to video chat, but it's usually best for smaller groups of people.

I created a few voice channels and text chat channels for people to come and go as they please. If there is a lot of people taking to it, I'll spend more time developing the channel (adding moderators, gated forms to fill out your preferences, audio bots so you can call up music requests and listen together, and if it get's big enough, boost the channels so you can watch videos together).


There are some basic rules here, and people in violation of them will be banned.

Don't be a douche - just because you can create another account doesn't mean I won't in the future make the channel private and make you go through an interview process to get in... If that's what it takes to keep creeps out, so be it.

Just a quick update -

5 new members since the post, so I'll start sprucing up the channel to have more content...

I'll start by defining the text and chat channels for the members, and adding bots that allow groups to listen to music together (in a specified music channel of course).

I'll look to add a leveling system next.

Thanks for all the bumps and support everyone! Slowly working on the server to see what else I can add to make it a more meaningful experience for the members. Might shell out some cash to get upgraded bots. In the meantime, keep adding suggestions in the server and I'll keep adding more
