Have you ever been disappointed . . . in somebody or something? Is it a new cd, movie or somebody that you thought was special that turned out to be . . . disappointing? If so what was it or who was it? This would be a good time to rant and rave!

Life is full of dissapointments. I am dissapointed I didn't get the job I interviewed for. I am dissapointed the economy isn't turning around faster. I could go on and on, but what would be the use? It is a lot easier, less time consuming and better for the morale to concentrate on what I am not dissapointed in.

Our lives are full of disappointments. I find it less so when I try not to anticipate anything specific for the future and just TRY to take each day at a time.

The biggest disappointment right now for me is that another day has gone by without my finding a job, cleaning the apartment and/or paying my bills! Then the trick is to NOT keep the burden of disappointment lingering; rather try and move on and hope for the strength and will power to handle it all soon.

I have such a hard time not being dissappointed in myself. I know I could do such much better, but then things happen that just suck and the thoughts all start again.

How do I handle it? I keep remembering that this day will end and hopefully the next day will be better.

The only time I get disappointed......

is if something goes or is going wrong in a relationship and I dont know how to fix it. If something was not going right between ltr and myself it would bother me if I could not fix it.

The things in life I could have, should have, would have done. But did not. :(

some how I'm disapointing my self all the time ...

Girl you better hush your mouth and stop thinking like that .... you brought a beautiful soul into this world and you have nothing to be disappointed about yourself at all.

Go hug your child...... then see if you are still feeling like you disappoint yourself after that.

Bet ya can't !!!!!:D

I get really dissapointed when I do something stupid. I also get really dissapointed when I realize I've missed an extremely rare opportunity. The trouble is, it's hard to avoid one of those types of dissapointment without getting more of the other. I'm going to try not to miss opportunities for a while. Think I'm gonna get to that Georgia party on the 22nd, if I can.

With me personally, dis-appointment is WORSE than having me mad at you. It's hard to explain, but you know that I really have a problem with you, if I tell you, I'm dis-appointed with you.

Venting....Thanks fallon2

I am fucking disappointed in my fucking job. I just got demoted, for no other reason than I asked for a raise. Stupid Bastards.

I'm going to go look for another job Saturday. This just fucking sucks. This is not a good time to start a new job. I haven't even begun making payments on my new car...... :(

At least I hope so. Good luck. :)

Thanks so much, Sch00lteacher! Letting go of disappointment in yourself actually helps things to move along much more smoothly.
