This is a closed thread between WhisperingRain and myself, feel free to read along.
OOC:
He has been up to his ears in cases, working constantly, comes home his wife has disappeared, no note nothing, just gone. He loves her very much and now along with his cases he has to look for her. His next door neighbour - who is a friend of his knows nothing - but his 21 year old daughter, whom up until now he hadn’t really paid attention to seems very interested in him.
Detective Tom Wright, 35 yrs old, 5'10, muscular build, brown hair, bluish-green eyes.
IC:
After another long and gruelling day i left the office and headed home. Driving home my thoughts turned to my wife and hoped that a meal was there waiting for me. Pulling up the drive i got out and noticed the mail hadn't been brought in. Taking the mail i entered the house and called out to my wife.
With no answer having been heard i moved to the kitchen and noticed that the stove was as cold as winter's morning. I pondered where she could be. Throwing the mail on the counter i picked up the phone and dialed the neighbour. He hadnt seen or heard anything and didnt know anything.
Finding the numbers of a few of her friends i phoned them and with every call i kept hitting a brick wall. There was not much else i could do tonight but wait and see if she returns. By morning she hadn't.
For the next two days i kept waiting to hear from my wife and still nothing. I cursed and swore under my breath and with feelings of anger and helplessness running through me i left work and walked to my car.
As i approached my car i noticed the neighbours daughter sitting on my car. What was she doing here i wondered to myself, did she know where my wife was or was it something else she wanted.
"Hi Laura ,how are you and what brings you here." I asked as my eyes briefly moved over her.
