Disappearing votes?

Well, none of mine have dropped twenty votes at a time, but Laurel does go through occasionally and weed out fraudulent votes (meaning more than one vote by the same person or possible 1 bombs).

Hi - I was checking my submission the other night and I had 271 votes. The next morning I checked and then there were only 250.

Then I checked last night and there were 251 votes. Another voter! Then this morning it was back to 250.

Anyone have similar problems? or an explanation?

Occasionally I have had votes deleted on some stories but never that many at one time. Usually one or two, probably duplicate votes or votes Laurel considers to be invalid.

If I had that many votes removed, there'd be none left.

But yes, every now and then the votes get weeded. You should look at the score, that shows they are mostly ones. At least that is the case with mine.
