Disappearing PM Inbox message. ???

I usually keep a few PMs that I have received in my PM inbox. Today, several of them just up and disappeared. One minute there was 7 or 8 of them in there and the next there were only 3.

I know I didn't delete them! One or two of them were a month or so old. One a week old and one from today. Nothing disapperaed from my Sent PMs folder but one of them also disappeared from the Message tracking "Read" section.

Does anyone have any ideas on why this would happen?

check on the bottom of the inbox page where it says "show messages from the last.......days" and change the option.

I'm set to "Since The beginning" and tried changing it the "Last Year" also but it makes no diff...

Other people cleaning up their PM box can affect yours.

The message that disappeared from message tracking was deleted by thepersonwhoreceived it -- once a message is deleted it can't be tracked.

If you select "cancel" instead of "stop tracking" in message tracking, it will delete the message being tracked -- whereever it might be.

Oooo! Thanks Harold. The "Cancel" trick may have been what it was then.. It seems odd that 4 different people would all "Cancel" PMs in a period of just a few minutes but.. I guess it is possible..
