Disabling the new author page redesign

From yesterday I'm seeing this new author page redesign and its been frustrating me to no end. I have over 3600 stories in my favorites and the "favorite stories" section in the old design loaded the entire page at once making it extremely easy to find a story with Ctrl+F and a keyword or description I remember since I do forget a few of the author and story name sometimes. But this new author page only loads about 50 stories at once and I have to click "Show more" over and over again and I just might get carpal tunnel before I reach the end of the list.

I sincerely hope this change is not permanent and there is still some way to disable this. Help is appreciated. Thanks.

Okay I noticed something weird. When I accessed your link with my home IP it redirected me to newer version of the author page but when I used a vpn I can still access the old author page with the same link you provided since there was no url redirects this time. This happens irrespective of whether I'm logged in or out.

I also got redirected too. I can't access the old URL. Don't have a VPN to try though.
The new design is very hard to find a story if the author has like 1000+ story. I gave up clicking "show more" after 20 times.

Also story with 100+ chapters list also mess up without the 0 padding in chapter name.

I also hope that this is not the permanent change. Or at least it'll be better to use the different URL for new and old UI and don't redirect the old URL to the new one. That way who want to use the old one don't get forced to use the not practical new UI.

I do both. I just find it easier to search for a story I've read just by going through my favorites list. A lot of writers on this site write on similar themes so its quite easy to forget who wrote what if you don't add the specific stories to your list.

I agree entirely as I also much prefer the old design. Hopefully someone can find a way to avoid the new design and let us choose to continue with the old design.

with the new profiles, someone named "JayeWilde" has been added to my profile as both a follow and a favorite. no way to remove them, and they don't appear in the dashboard, just on the new profile page. really frustrating and weird.

Okay, that's weird. That profile won't load for me in the new author page whether typed in all upper-case or lower-case. It just sits and spins. It's not because the name is all upper-case, because I can get WFEATHER to load without issue. Yeah, Okay, it's starting for me now, too. But I can see that, when I try to access the "regular" profile pages that contain the user-id in the URL, the server gives me a 302 back that sends my browser to the new profile page.

So, this seems intentional.

Oh, PLEASE give us the option of keeping the previous look & layout. This is awful. I hate when websites do this. Literotica had the same look & layout for how many years? It was great. When I visit an author's page to look at their available stories 6 titles fit on a screen now. These are the types of things that make me stop visiting websites. It's so frustrating.

Add me to the list of people that hate the new design. The previous list was succinct and easy to use. I could load the entire list of stories at one go and browse to see what I like. Now I have to scroll endlessly and it only loads part of the stories at a time. I have a few favorite authors that have over 1000 stories and this is going to be a nightmare to try to navigate now.

Plus all my old bookmarks are invalid. I frequently see a new story and want to check if I have already explored that author, so I bookmark them. Now those bookmarks no longer work, so everyone appears to be "new."

Please provide me with the ability to choose which interface to use.

I think the new design just went global. Please for the love of god allow people to choose between the old and new design just like you have with the classic storypage. This new one makes browsing through stories and favorites list infinitely more cumbersome. Really disappointed.

I hate the new author page -- It's totally unworkable when trying to search for a story by a popular author. There should be an option to choose how many stories are loaded at a time, rather than the currently rigid 50. Yes, the new design looks cool, but that's all it has going for it, IMHO.
