Disabled veteran research help needed (writerly)

This is NOT political. I think I'm not searching correctly, so could use a little help. I'd like to read some blogs or anything really, that gives fairly recent first-hand accounts of what a wounded military member goes through.

I've already sobbed my way through the Wounded Warrior Project website. If any of you think you're having a bad day, or that what happens on an erotica literary forum is that important, read this. But this site only has a few accounts and are not detailed.

If this is a very private issue for you, but you have some information you wouldn't mind sharing, please pm me. It won't go any further.
