I am currently working on an assignment 1200 miles from the wife. Over the past six months I have had the pleasure of working with a female some 10 years younger than me. Things are evolving, and as much as I have always used the swing lifestyle and my open marriage as an outlet to avoid office romance, this woman is totally intoxicating. Went to a swing event and played all night long, the entire time I was there, I was wishing I was working on a project with her, or having dinner with her, not even sex, just being with her.

I have always preached and looked down on office romance, and would never tolerate boss worker relationships. Now this. Just needed to open up and I thought this was the best place. Any thoughts or experiences appreciated.:)

trust your instinct...

...if this was 30 or so years ago i'd probably say go for it however in today's business climate, if you value your job and career, let it go. none of us stay 'totally intoxicating' forever...i think you are a bit infatuated with this woman, nothing to be ashamed of, just see it for what it is.

totally agree

That is what makes it so frustrating. Wish she was married. Truly an amazingly smart, generous hard working person.

When, not if, it goes sour, you'll be fired.

How much do you like your job?

I agree with Amber.

It can be a great and satisfying time that will pass eventually. How it ends will determine your employment status, but until then, just think of how much more productive you can be if you are not frustrated and distracted.

Who knows, she may have posted on here with similar thoughts and desires, just waiting for you to take the first step.

Do men ever take note of the non female friendly/positive tone of all these types of sayings ? The "company's" "ink"? If I'm not mistaken, and I know I'm not, it's her "ink". Just saying. And no, don't do it. I see the lawsuit from here. Of course, it looks interesting as most lawsuits do to me. However, the parties involved typically don't feel that way.

Made a Move on a Co-worker

Didn't work. We had spent a lot of time together away on projects. We always had our own hotel rooms. Then one day we, being long term close friends who shares allot of stories, as an example her ability to put her feet behind her neck, etc, we ended up sharing a bed. She wanted to spoon. Well since I was always hot for her, I became aroused and rolled over, put my arms around her and planted a big kiss on her lips. That was it. She turned on me like a snake.

Too bad. I'm sure it would have been a great fuck.

She really thought a spoon would lead to nothing? I know guys are more-likely to make the dumb move in most situations, but that was very naive of her. Sorry it didn't work out.
