Sheesh this is the third thread I'm starting tonight. Must be a record for me.
Dinner tonight was something special. For the first time I made a fish Stir Fry and I have to admit it turned out great.
I slivered some Snapper, enough to make two cups worth. I tossed that in a hot Wok with some Hot Sesame Oil, freshly Grated Garlic and a touch of Nuoc Mam. Cooked the fish until it was done. I then added slivered/thin sliced Onion and Sweet peppers as well as a crushed Ancho. (I didn't have any Thais.) This was quick fried until the Onions were just starting to turn.
I then served this over sticky rice cooked with just a hint of Soup Stock and had more Nuoc Mam on the side.
Oh this was great. Tasted fantastic and easy to make.
The best part is I have plenty left over to bring to work tomorrow. (Hell enough to bring an extra heling in for one of my Co-workers who happens to be Vietnamese.)
