I recently submitted stories that were from a rejection where I put them in as word documents this time. I then submitted a couple of new stories and just copy/pasted the contents in. The older stories have not been reviewed and still say Pending while the two newer stories say Published and are going in. Can someone let me know if there is something I maybe didn't do for those older submissions? Is there just a different que for resubmissions that is longer or for stories that are in an uploaded format? Just trying to figure out what might be going on or if 9 days is a typical wait time for those sorts of entries.

Resubmissions always take longer. Over 14 days is when to start being concerned.

No one but Laurel actually knows how the reviews happen. I can certainly imagine a world where she saves longer stories for when she has time.

Okay, thanks for the quick feedback! I don't need anything further. I just wanted to make sure I did it right since this was my first time uploading a word doc!

I've been too nervous to try uploading a Word Doc - worried about not being in control of what the assembly line does. How was the experience, other than the delay in approval?
