Differences and Tolerance

I would almost agree with this... almost.

I can not judge someone on what they might do. There are instances however when I agree someone should be judged based on what they have done.

In that case you would either love me or want me hung by the neck. :D I always try to look at the circumstances behind a person actions before judging them. I try to never judge a person by what I may have done, I'm different than most and know this.

I think the statement I posted is versatile enough that different people will get different things out of it. My hope is that someone who reads it will feel a little more self aware. I can't see someone reading it and not feeling that way.

I like your goal, and I think you're wholly right. I actually thought about you and this conversation today while immersed in Todorov's theory of narrative structure, of all things. Why? Because he talked about some of the same issues as we did above on the topic of absolutist pure logic views and their conflict with applicative real world practices. Logic is essentially absolutist; the real world is essential subjective and fuzzy. Or so claims he, and I think I too, and if I'm not wrong, you.

Why come visit them when you can get new ones?

Ahhh. That's the idea tonic to a long, hard day. And I'm willing to state that as a logical absolute.

Thanks, CP.
