Didn't see an intro thread, so just jumping in.

Welcome to the den. But why aren't you writing? ;)

Ya gotta give them virgins a few days to knock the cherry juice off. :D

Welcome to the madhouse. If ya ain't crazy when ya get here, you will be when ya leave. That or one pissed off SOB. I'll wait for you to make up your mind. ;)

I don't like this visual. Not one bit. :p
Besides, lots of women knocked off their juice long before their virginity, which really fucks with your metaphor.

I may have just said something to someone about the AH and straightjackets. Not that I've ever needed one because of this place.
Nope. Not me.

Also -- Welcome, TMaskedWriter! :rose:

Welcome aboard!

If you hang out here then you'll get used to the way that folks have almost no respect for each other. Just don't translate that to real life and you'll be fine.

Welcome to the funny farm. Watch where you walk. Some of the animals are vicious.

Meanwhile, the way to be an author is to write stuff. Write lotsa stuff. Then some more.

When I get back to writing more stuff, I'll be an author again. But now I have a headache.

The link works, if that's what you mean.

Thanks. I'm not sure how to list them in order, but there is one:

A Conversation Amongst Equals
Great Day For It
How My Day Was
Long Day's Journey Into Susan
An Intermission Amongst Equals
The Day Before The Day
As Day Follows Night
A New Day Dawns for Susan
Night Brings the Hunter (In Progress)

(The "Day" thing happened accidentally. At this point, it's become a code for which of my characters will be the focus of the story.)

Thanks. I'm not sure how to list them in order

You can't. Your story list is alphabetical order, but does show the published date.

Welcome to the mad house. Don't take anything personally or anybody seriously and you'll be fine. It won't take long to sort out the regulars.... Don't take them seriously, they're only here for the attention. Someone will be along soon to take your order....

Welcome aboard...You are bound to meet some colorful characters at some point. As Jim Morrison of the Doors said," People are strange."đź‘ đź‘ đź‘ Kantđź’‹

And we now return you to our regular broadcasting...

Welcome to the AH. It's a silly place. It's a serious place. It's a place where you can get questions answered. It's a place where getting questions answered is like pulling teeth. Most here are harmless. Then again there's not much you can do to physically harm anyone via the internet. You can call people names. Insult their intelligence. And basically harass them to no end. And if you're sensitive enough that words hurt you, then you probably shouldn't be a writer. Critics can be mean, only because they can sometimes and you can't do anything about it.

So, sit back and enjoy your time here. Good luck.

I should also point out that the first three stories: A Conversation Amongst Equals, Great Day For It, and How My Day Was, are entirely dialogue with no descriptions. Seems to be a big complaint about them.

That's my fault, yes. A Conversation Amongst Equals was the first thing I wrote after 20 years of writer's block, so I was experimenting. I did it again for Great Day For It, and since How My Day Was is a continuation of that story, had to keep it up. Stopped doing it with Long Day's Journey Into Susan for fear it'd become "my schtick."
