Hi Lauren,

Congratulations to yourself and everyone else for the nomination including Alex de Kok, Quasimodem, perdita and gauchecritic for their stories and Couture and Alex de Kok for their illustrations in Snippettsville's Issue 5.

Thanks for starting this thread. :) I didn't realise the SG had been nominated.

Laurencita,

Thank you for the post. I'm very happy for all, I love knowing these writers, especially you, bella.

Hooray, us!

Perdita :)

edit: WSO asked on the Snipps discussion thread; I too want to know how the nomination process works. Who does the nominating? Anyone?

The readers do. These are (or were on 15 Nov, the top rated stories and poems submitted in October.

By the end of the year there will be 12 nominees in each category, and the top rated 4 or 5 of those will be eligible for the Literotica awards, which are decided by popular vote.

;)

Woohoo!

Thanks for pointing that out, Lauren, congrats to you and everyone else nominated.

Lou :D

I'm an architecture student. That was exceptionally early for me.

Whoo Whoo...

How I remember those days and nights. Doesn't change, can't get out of the habit!:)

PS The AV's a Restoration Comedy - its there to remind me what I'm supposed to be doing. :D

Wills, I like your AV photo very much, glad to know its meaning. I love that in Venice when a building on the Grand Canal is being renovated it is covered in a tarp that depicts what it will look like, thus not marring the usual view. Here's an example (if the attachment works).

ciao, Perdita

Right. Now I know what category to write for the prizes.

Conratulations to everyone.

Thanks for the heads up Lauren.

Congratulations to every nominee.

I don't think MG should worry about comparisons: she was an excellent ("H" rated) and productive pornster at her peak, churning out, in summer '02, sometimes a story a day. There was a spurt of production in winter 02-03, then retirement. Somehow the fires have to be re-ignited.

Perdita

Thanks, the wraps come off in about two weeks, I'll post an update. The venice ones are great, I do remember seeing one or two of those.

It's a useful reminder to keep my mind on the physical as well as the written. I'm peverse that way, I have a password that is the name of a long gone business partner - just to remind me NEVER to go into partnership with anyone again. ;)

Wow, I didn't even know!

Thanks Lauren. :)

Congratulations to the others up there.

Damp, I am liking your AVs, the current one is lovely, like the loose petals.

Thanks for your support of Snipps too, I'm sure you had something to do with our nomination.

Perdi :rose:

Thanks Perdi. Those are my favourite flowers. Gerberas. I have about 6-7 more of the gerberas AVs to go through.

The Snipps deserve the awards they get and I'm glad if I did have anything to do with it. :)

Thank you Lauren and congrats to all. Your poem and illustration are gorgeous, but you know I thought that.

I'm gonna go celebrate--that is if the predicted tornados don't carry me away. If they do Lauren, who knows, maybe I'll end up in your neck of the woods (Portugal that is--not Oz). :)

You know... you didn't even have to say you're in Lisbon anymore. Just from that image, it's self-evident. It has that special color, Lisbon's own special light.
